The event is a multi - stage geocache. Players will be given a set of GPS coordinates, be told they lead to a treasure, and then be turned loose. This will lead to a branching and increasingly difficult set of hidden caches that will be setup by Matt beforehand in the area immediately surrounding the hotel/downtown area. These caches will contain pieces of info that can be combined into a set of coordinates leading to a final prize, whoever finds this prize first will be the winner. Players may enter individually, or as teams, or even join up in game, both cooperation and back stabbing will be encouraged. Lastly, as an additional for-funsies, the caches may be left in place after the event for the remaining duration of the con, to act as traditional take-a-penny-leave-a-penny style geocaches, and the exchanging of trinkets will be highly encouraged.

Randomly-selected teams face off against each other in a race to complete a curated list of stages in Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch. The kicker is that on each team, the teammates will have to work together to control a separate half of the controller with the use of joycons. I.E. On a team, player one will have the left joycon and would control where Mario moves. Player two would have the right joycon and would control where Mario jumps and how fast he moves. The players would race in levels added to a super world for simplicity and teams would race simultaneously to see who could reach the flag first.

Ethan will be discussing the Resident Evil games, starting with RE1 in 1996 all the way through to RE4R in 2023. Along the way, learn about lore, trivia, differences between the originals and remakes, and why Resident Evil has become the phenomenon it is.

Participants write down a prompt, then everyone passes their paper to the next person, who has to try to draw that prompt. Then, the artist passes their drawing down the line, and the next person has to write what they think the person before them drew (without looking at the prompt beneath the drawing). At the end, everyone shares the sequence of creations that they end up with.

This will be an interactive game show where all of the games are built around other popular American and English game shows. Everyone in the audience can play along, but we will be selecting winners to 'compete' in more specific challenges! It's going to be a fun weird mess.
