COVID-19 Policies for Friendcon 2021

To all friends of FriendCon:

We are so excited to come back this year for FriendCon 2021! As we continue to navigate uncertain times, we want to make sure that the event is as safe as possible. Our attendees’ safety and well-being are paramount to the experience that we want FriendCon to be.

As of August 8, 2021, the following policies will be enforced in all con areas within the State College Hyatt:

1. All attendees must provide proof of full vaccination at the time of registration– no exceptions. Proof may include showing your physical vaccination card, a picture of your card, or documentation indicating that you have received all doses of your COVID vaccine.

2. All attendees will be required to wear masks in con areas. a. Exception: tables will be designated for eating in one of the convention rooms. Attendees are asked to adhere to the time limits imposed at these areas. Masks may be taken off while eating and drinking.

We did not arrive at these policies lightly and we ask for your patience and understanding in the decisions made. If you have already registered and you no longer wish to attend FriendCon 2021 due to these policies, please send an email to admin@friendcon.com requesting a refund and we will honor your request. We sincerely hope that everyone will be able to join us next year, safe and sound, and together once more.
